WEST ORANGE, NJ -- Three members of the West Orange girls soccer team have been selected to the Super Essex Conference's 2019 All-American Division first team.

Natalie Nevins, Kaya Schultz and Emma Mitchell of West Orange were named to the first team, which was chosen through a vote of the conference's coaches.

Nevins, a senior midfielder headed to St. Joseph's University, finished the 2019 season with 27 goals and 24 assists. Schultz, a junior midfielder, had eight goals and 11 assists. Mitchell, a junior forward, collected 11 goals and five assists.

Kiara Machuca and Tori Rideau-Winds of West Orange were named to the American Division's second team. Machuca, a senior who played in the back and midfield, scored 11 goals. Rideau-Winds, a sophomore back, was instrumental in the Mountaineers shutting out 10 opponents en route to a 16-4 season.

Kiley Capstraw, a sophomore forward, and Cassidy Joyce, a senior goalie, are West Orange players who were given honorable mention in the division.
