WESTFIELD, NJ — Ten Westfield High School 11th graders achieved the highest score possible on parts of the February 2018 ACT standardized tests, according to Westfield Public Schools.

The students who received a top score of 36 are: Kathryn Armstrong - Math, Science, STEM and English; Rachel Bowman - English; Kayla Butera - English; Katherine Ceraso - Reading; Nicholas Chermak - Math; Fiona Gillen - English; Jared Greenspan - Science, English and Reading; Emma Herber - English; Jenna Miller - English; and Jennifer O’Connell - Science.

In a congratulatory letter to each student, Westfield High School Principal Derrick Nelson commended them for “exceptional achievement.” 

“It speaks volumes about your abilities and commitment to your education,” Nelson wrote.
