CLARK, NJ — Drivers who frequently use Madison Hill Road may want to find an alternate route starting next week. On Monday, Feb. 8, the Madison Hill Road Reservoir Bridge replacement project will begin.

Workers will be on site between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, according to Lt. Michael Pollack of the Clark Police Department. The project is expected to last for eight months.

“The first priority for the project will be to construct a pedestrian walkway to make a safe passage through the work site," said Pollack.

The road will remain open to traffic during the project. However, drivers should be prepared for delays at any time during the work. Police officers will be on the scene throughout the project to control the flow of traffic as needed.
