WESTFIELD, NJ —  Eight Westfield High School students each achieved the highest score in May on parts of either the SAT or ACT standardized tests, bringing the total this year to 48, the district announced Tuesday. The tests are widely used for college admission and placement criteria.

Earning perfect SAT scores were: Alexander Campbell -  Math 2; Michael Canabarro – Math 2; Casey Cohen – Chemistry; Timothy McAuliffe – Chemistry; Alex Pinkowski – French; Madeline Reynders – Math 2; and Marisa Li – Math 2. William Collum achieved a perfect score in Reading in the ACT.

WHS Principal Dr. Derrick Nelson congratulated each student personally for the achievement.
