WESTFIELD, NJ — Westfield-based law firm Lindabury, McCormick, Estabrook & Cooper is once again well represented in the New Jersey Super Lawyers list with nine attorneys recognized as leaders in their area of practice.
Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Every year Super Lawyers selects attorneys using a patented selection process that involves peer nominations, independent research and peer evaluations.
Among this year's Super Lawyers is Family Law attorney Nicole Kobis, who also attained the designation of “Rising Star” in the legal profession. In order to be selected as a rising star, candidates must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less.
“I’m privileged to be named one of Super Lawyers Rising Stars for the second year in a row,” Kobis said. “Helping a client navigate through a family law related issue is what is most important to me and my practice. Being included as a Rising Star is an honor especially when it comes to finding an attorney to help with such personal matters. “
Also among Lindabury’s 2017 Super Lawyers are: Peter Burke (estate and trust litigation), Kathleen Connelly (employment law) , John Cooper (estate planning and probate), Jerry Fitzgerald English (environmental), Edward Frisch (construction litigation), David Hardin (estate planning and probate), Jay Lavroff (insurance coverage) and John Schmidt (employment).
