WESTFIELD, NJ – If all goes to plan, the estimated month-long closure of Elm Street for a county culvert replacement won’t be a nightmare.

Union County is set to begin the second phase of a culvert replacement on Elm Street on Tuesday, with work being done near Orchard Street, town officials announced.

The roadway will be closed until about Oct. 12, officials said. The timeline for construction is weather dependent, officials said.
