Ann Cary Won’t Run for Re-Election to Westfield Board of Education

May 6, 2014 at 11:14 PM

WESTFIELD, NJ — Westfield Board of Education member Ann Cary announced at Tuesday’s  BOE meeting that she will not run for re-election in the fall.

“I have served three terms on the board and I want to thank the community for having me, that will be nine years, three months and two days when I leave. I just counted,” said Cary. “Anyone interested in running must have their signed petition turned in by July 28, and so I wanted to give community members some time to think about running.”
