WESTFIELD, NJ — AR Workshop at 226 North Ave. West celebrated its grand opening recently, holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Mayor Andy Skibitsky, Councilman Sam Della Fera, the Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Westfield Corporation.
Open since May 18, the Downtown Westfield location is an extension of a popular North Carolina-based design company Anders Ruff. AR Workshop is a hands-on boutique studio and store where visitors can create their own handmade, mixed-media pieces – everything from framed and plank wood signs to canvas wall hangings to chalkboard art, pillows, décor and more, according to owner Joanna Rapuzzi.
“We teach you a new skill,” owner Joanna Rapuzzi said.
Customers ages 8 and up enjoy guided workshop sessions that allow for individual creativity and high-end results.
