CLARK, NJ – Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza is one of the many shops coming to the new Clark Commons shopping center near Westfield, located 1255 Raritan Road between Central Ave. and Walnut Ave. in Clark.
An innovative fast-casual chain restaurant, Blaze features an assembly-line format that allows guests to customize a signature pizza or create their own.
The brand originated in California and now has a presence in 11 states. Its expansion to the East Coast began in July with the opening of its West Babylon, NY, restaurant. Its first New Jersey restaurant opened recently in Paramus.
"Our mission at Blaze is really simple – we're all about bringing the community a place where guests can connect, create and enjoy great pizza at crazy fast speed," said Jim Mizes, president & COO of Blaze Pizza. "If you think about it, there hasn't been a good way to enjoy a made-from-scratch pizza without the wait. Now there is. We believe this will be a game-changer in town."
The “casually hip” restaurants are known for their custom-built artisanal pizzas, freshly made salads, blood orange lemonade and s'more pies. Each restaurant makes its own dough from scratch using a recipe developed by critically-acclaimed Executive Chef Bradford Kent ("The Pizza Whisperer"). The thin-crust, 11-inch pizzas are baked in a blazing hot open-flame oven, “fast-fired” in just 180 seconds.
