WESTFIELD, NJ — Blende Custom Beauty held a ribbon-cutting ceremony this weekend at 106 Elm St. in Downtown Westfield with Mayor Andy Skibitsky, members of the Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Westfield Corporation.

The shop has been busy since it first opened May 2, according to celebrity makeup artist and co-owner Keira Karlin.

“We had Girls’ Night Out, we had prom — it’s a good time of year,” Karlin said.

“All of the makeup is catered to each person,” Karlin explained. “We’re making it. It’s like a little mini lab.”

“There’s nothing like it around here,” added co-owner Nikki Tardibuono.
