BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The Bridgewater-Raritan High School boys varsity lacrosse team defeated Westfield, 10-6, in the finals of the NJSIAA North Jersey Group 4 tournament Saturday. The game marked Bridgewater-Raritan's 41st straight win over the last two years — the team hasn't lost a game since Westfield defeated them in the finals in 2014.
It also marked the Panthers' second straight sectional title.
James Bohlinger led the Blue Devils in their effort with two goals. Brandon Leuthold, Devon McLane, Blake Taylor and Jake Wornow scored one apiece.
Bridgewater-Raritan's Brian Kolen led the team with four goals, followed by Sean MacKinney with two goals. Nick Attanasio, Ryan Kaden, Liam Kelly and Ethan Locker scored one goal each.
Bridgewater-Raritan, 18-0 on the season and seeded number one, will face Montgomery in the Group 4 final Wednesday.
