CLARK, NJ —  Westfield High School boys varsity lacrosse (no. 20) defeated Summit (no. 5) Saturday night, 5-4, to win the Union County Tournament for its third straight year.

Goalie Jack McCauley helped the Blue Devils keep their lead down to the finish by stopping a last attempt to score by the Hilltoppers with just seconds left on the clock.

Devon McLane made two goals and one assist, Nick Bond made one goal and one assist and Jake Engelke and Jake Wornow each made one goal for Westfield. Owen Prybylski and Matt Rittendale both got assists, as well.

Catch the Blue Devils next when they play Seton Hall at home Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
