Assemblyman Jon Bramnick, R-Essex, Morris, Somerset and Union, is co-sponsoring legislation to remove the red decal requirement recently enacted as part of Kyleigh's Law.

"Requiring young drivers to display a red sticker on their license plate is unwise and potentially dangerous," said Bramnick, the Conference Leader in the Assembly. "I am working with my fellow legislators to repeal this portion of Kyleigh's Law as quickly as possible."

Assemblyman Bramnick is working with his fellow legislators on A-2650, a bill that will amend Kyleigh's Law to remove the requirement that drivers with a learner's permit, examination permit, and probationary license display the red decal on their license plate.
