FANWOOD, NJ — A North Avenue resident discovered Tuesday that a rear window had been broken with a concrete block and an intruder entered her home and stole jewelry from the master bedroom, according to Fanwood Police Chief Richard Trigo. An Xbox360, a Wii-U and an Apple TV were also taken. The burglary took place between 8:30 a.m. and 4:50 p.m., he said.

"The Fanwood Police Department strongly urges all residents to lock all doors and windows to their homes and vehicles," Trigo said. "If you see anything or anyone suspicious, please contact the Fanwood Police Dept. at 908-322-5000 immediately."
