My husband and I moved here to raise our family. We wanted a place where kids played basketball in the driveway and the neighbors had block parties. Soon enough, we had two daughters in Jefferson, and Westfield felt like home.

My life is defined by hard work, a desire to make a difference, and a commitment to the issues that impact families.

After graduating magna cum laude from Boston College, I became a public school teacher. Then as a legislative leader for Moms Demand Action, I met with New Jersey lawmakers to fight for sensible gun reforms to make our communities safer. And when you needed action on pedestrian safety in Ward 3—I pushed for solutions.

Over these past two years, Mayor Brindle delivered some impressive results: passing a budget with a 0% municipal tax increase for the first time ever; tripled road paving; prioritized the fight for peak one-seat-rides; and initiated a community-driven Master Plan process to revitalize our Downtown and enhance our Southside businesses and parks.

These results took vision, commitment and informed leadership. As your councilwoman, I look forward to building on that progress. I am proactive, persistent and prepared to do the work ahead.

I’m running to be your Councilwoman to bring a solutions-oriented approach to you in Ward 3. I look forward to meeting you and earning your vote on Nov. 5.
