As your elected 4th Ward councilman, I am proud to serve the residents of Westfield and my neighbors in the 4th Ward.  Over the years I have positively impacted our entire community by: paving more roads, maintaining our surplus and AAA bond rating, appointing new Police leadership, supporting community events, improving communication efforts, approving citizens to serve on our various boards and making Westfield a safe and welcoming community.

I respect my opponent for running and the commitment involved; however, using campaign mailers, articles and advertisements depicting that he was responsible for these accomplishments are misleading, false and unfair to residents that rely on honest and accurate information from council candidates. My countless hours spent in committee (Finance, Department of Public Works and Public Safety), as well as my time attending Council meetings has led to policies, resolutions and actions that directly resulted in the accomplishments above and many more including safer crosswalks, improved safety striping for students on Rahway Avenue near Westfield High School and  keeping 69k high-voltage lines out of our 4th Ward neighborhoods  I am proud of my involvement and action with all of my fellow council persons and mayor to make Westfield a great community to live and a safe place to raise a family.

I, Councilmen Stokes, will continue to lead, represent and make bipartisan decisions with integrity and honor as your elected official!  I respectfully ask for your re-election vote on Nov. 5 so that I can continue the hard work for all of Westfield.
