UNION, NJ — A two car crash occurred at just after 8:15 p.m. Tuesday in front of 2151 Route 22 East.

One vehicle flipped onto its side and off to the side of the road resting on a guard rail. According to police officials, two people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The identities of those injured and the nature of their injuries was not available.

Route 22 Eastbound was down to one lane as of 8:30 p.m.
