CLARK, NJ — Clark Police have issued an advisory Sunday to motorists to avoid Raritan Road between Westfield Avenue and Madison Hill Road. The roadway was closed due to electrical lines on the road.
According to Clark Police, the wires came down after a vehicle collided with a utility pole between Ruddy Place and Featherbed Lane.
Police Chief Matos confirmed there were three people in the car, including a 2 year old, at the time of the crash. The occupents were initially trapped inside when power lines came down onto the automobile as a result of the collision. No injuries were reported, police said.
