Congregation Beth Israel in Scotch Plains with hold a Casino Night on Saturday, March 24, at 8:30 p.m. at the synagogue. The event is open to the community.
The synagogue’s social hall will be transformed into a casino, complete with gaming tables for Black Jack, Roulette, Craps, Texas Hold ‘Em and Caribbean Stud Poker. Winners will have the opportunity to take home valuable prizes.
The event will include an open bar with cordials, wine and beer. In addition, there will be a dairy dessert buffet, with an international coffee bar.
The evening will also feature a silent auction and raffles. Auction items include tickets to sporting events, golf at nearby clubs, and hotel stays.
“Casino Night promises to be a really great event, “ said Debbie Friedman, Ways and Means Committee Chair, Congregation Beth Israel. “We’ve designed the evening with so much to do and enjoy that even non-gamblers can have a lot of fun,” said Ms. Friedman.
