Money donated to contact We Care goes toward the operation of the agency, including keeping the hotline’s volunteer listeners on the phones. CONTACT’s more than 200 trained listeners answer more than 14,000 calls and texts annually from people in crisis, providing an empathetic ear and helping them see they have options. A donation of just $15 covers the cost of one average call or text exchange.
