Cranford Salon Boosts Economy With Spa Gift Certificate Deal

Relax from the hectic world at It's All About Me Salon & Day Spa

It’s All About Me Salon and Day Spa will hold its fifth annual special spa gift certificate deal on Black Friday, Nov. 23.

The salon and spa, at 25 North Avenue East, will offer a free gift certificate for every gift certificate purchased – no matter how many, not matter what the amount.

“The economy is still lousy, so this is our way of helping our customers make sure they have holidays gifts for the special people in their lives,” said Gina Torretta, owner of the salon and spa. “This will be our fifth Black Friday celebration. It’s our way of saying to our customers: ‘It’s really all about you.’”

The Black Friday celebration will also include raffles for holiday baskets, give-aways and a special wide range of salon and spa services.

“This event has made Black Friday the busiest day of the year for us,” said Torretta, who has owned It’s All About Me Salon and Day Spa for eight years. “We are open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. It gets pretty crazy in here, so bring your holiday gift list.”

This year, Black Friday comes right before the annual Small Business Saturday – an opportunity for people to show support for the local businesses that serve the community every day.

A review on Citysearch called It’s All About Me Salon and Day Spa: “The best of the better than the best! I found this spa and salon by accident, and let me tell you, it was the greatest mistake of my life! It is conveniently located, open five days a week, including mornings and evenings, and is very happy to accommodate all of my needs. I have had massages, manicures, pedicures, highlights, and blowouts, and I must say, I have NEVER had a single disappointing experience in my life!

“From the owner, Gina, through all the staff, It's All About ‘Me’ Salon and Spa has been and will continue to be my greatest experience since moving to Cranford!”

It’s All About Me Salon and Day Spa specializes in pampering – from basic hair cuts, manicures and pedicures to Japanese hair straightening, exotic facials, collagen treatments, microdermabrasion and a wide selection of body treatments including hot stone massages, Caribbean salt scrubs and deep tissue massages.

“Our place is a quiet, peaceful retreat from the stress of the outside world,” Torretta said. “Most places offer a 50-minute massage. Our massages are a full hour. This is the place where you get pampered.”

Why We Keep Kosher

Why We Keep Kosher

This week's parshah, Shemini, introduces the Torah's dietary laws. Animals must chew their cud and have split hooves to be kosher, fish need fins and scales, and a list of forbidden fowl is enumerated.

To those of us in Jewish education, it is a continuing source of disappointment that so many Jews still believe the kosher laws to be outdated.
