WESTFIELD, NJ — Hold your cupcakes: Crumbs Bake Shop in Westfield may delay its soft re-opening, originally scheduled for this Saturday, Oct. 25, to sometime in November, according to the Downtown Westfield Corporation.
More than three months after Crumbs Bake Shop closed all of its locations and declared bankruptcy, the chain of bakeries known for its over-the-top cupcakes announced last week that it is re-opening some of its locations after a deal involving Marcus Lemonis, host of CNBC's The Profit series and CEO of Camping World and Good Sam Enterprises.
According to a representative of Crumbs, the menu will include all of the old Crumbs favorites, plus the following new baked goods:
· Several cupcakes associated with The Profit, including Lynn’s Watermelon cupcakes and Sweet Pete’s Salty Carmel
· A new bagel/croissant item called the Baissant
· A pretzel-croissant combination called the Crozel
· Gluten-free brownies and cookies
· Breads and pies
In addition, the store will soon offer Dippin Dots, Monster Munch Party Packs, Pie Bars and smoothies.
