Local Orthodontist Dr. Eric Frank and Pediatric Dentist Dr. Aimee Leibowitz-Frank are expecting twin boy “Coronials” during the COVID-19 Shutdown. Their mission, at Oceans Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry in Westfield, is to create smiles that make a splash. They filmed a “baby mama” video to create virtual smiles. Smiling is important, now more than ever. Share this video with someone to share a smile!
In addition to their dance skills, they created care packages for the front line workers at local hospitals that include a Dr. John's xylitol anti-cavity candies, Hyperbiotics probiotics, a travel toothbrush & Unpaste toothpaste tablets, which are perfect in honor of earth day next week. Traditional toothpaste comes in tubes that are not recyclable and take 500 years to decompose. These toothpaste tablets are single-serving sized, with zero waste & a compostable packet. We should all give Mother Earth a little more attention these days. That has always been a goal for Oceans Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry, as they work in a profession where disposables and plastics are a large concern.
Team Oceans hopes they can make it easier for these healthcare heroes to do a little self care at the hospitals while healing our country. The care kits were delivered to Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ and Saint Barnabas Hospital in Livingston, NJ. Special thanks to GoodBottle in Maplewood, NJ for staying open, doing contact-less pickup and carrying Unpaste! Their hearts are full and spirits inspired by the brave men and women they encountered at the hospitals while delivering the care bags.
