WESTFIELD, NJ — Got Books? The Friends of the Westfield Memorial Library are now accepting donations of gently used books, CDs and DVDs for their 44th annual spring book sale. Donations can be dropped off at the library on April 19, 20 and 21 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., and April 22 from 9 a.m. until noon.

The Friends will not accept textbooks; damaged, yellowed or moldy books; outdated reference books; condensed books; encyclopedias; VHS tapes; LP records; or magazines.

The sale, which usually features about 30,000 books, will take place April 26 through April 29, with a special members-only preview day April 25. (Memberships will be available at the door.)

Proceeds from will go directly toward funding Friends-sponsored programs, which include children’s programs, a speaker series, museum passes and trips to the opera.
