WESTFIELD, NJ — Downtown Westfield was a sea of people Sunday when thousands arrived to trick-or-treat at participating retail stores and restaurants. Afterward, the Optimist Club of Westfield presented its annual Halloween parade with a costume contest sponsored by the Downtown Westfield Corporation.

The parade was led by the Westfield High School Marching Band.
