WESTIELD, NJ — Families flocked to Downtown Westfield Sunday for the town's annual trick-or treat, parade and costume contest. 

Kids collected candy from retail stores and restaurants throughout Downtown Westfield from noon until 2 p.m.

At 2:15, families marched the Optimist Club of Westfield’s Halloween Parade, led by the Westfield High School Marching Blue Devils.

Afterward, kids in pre-school through elementary school were awarded prizes in a costume contest sponsored by Downtown Westfield Corporation.

UNION COUNTY, NJ — It started with a collection to help fund a Memorial Day barbecue at the Valley Brook Village veterans facility in Lyons, NJ. The IRS recently announced relief for taxpayers with family coverage under a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) who contribute to a Health Savings Account (HSA).
