The Westfield Recreation Department is proud to present two etiquette classes through Patti Manning of Mannerations®. Classes are held in the Recreation Department's Community Room located in the Municipal Building at 425 East Broad Street, Westfield.
The Social Etiquette Class is conveniently offered Nov. 18 or on Jan. 5. This program teaches proper etiquette techniques to successfully manage social situations. Some of the topics reviewed include greetings and introductions, being a good guest and host, written correspondence and behavior at celebrations and other life events.
Children learn through role playing, worksheets and fun games. The classes are offered to children 6–10 years on the following dates from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 18 or Jan. 5 2016. Cost is $40 per child, which includes instructional material and a fun good-manners bag. You may register for this program through the Westfield Recreation Department.
The Dining Program is offered on Dec. 16 or Jan. 7. Learn the etiquette of dining in a fun, interactive and memorable manner. A four-course meal is consumed while etiquette instruction is provided. Discussion of why good manners during dining are important and how to correctly behave and manage a formal meal. Offered to children 6–10 years old on the following dates from 4 p.m. to 5: p.m. Dec. 16 or Jan. 7. The cost is $55 per child and includes four-course meal and instructional manual.
