Help is at hand for all those who never took Music Appreciation in school or who, like me, slept through it but seek a non-threatening way to approach classical music. Part one of a terrific new eight-part series called “Fall in Love with Music” debuts March 30 on NJTV.
In easily digestible half hour segments, the series provides the vocabulary and listening skills to begin the very worthwhile journey into classical music. George Marriner Maull, the Artistic Director of The Discovery Orchestra, is the highly entertaining and compelling host.
(Full Disclosure – I took Maestro Maull’s one-day seminar of the same name two years ago and am now totally hooked.) Parts two through eight of the series will air starting April 20 and each Wednesday thereafter at 8:30 p.m.
