Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce Invites All To Festifall!
With the Festifall Street Fair bringing in the Fall season on Sunday, Sept. 27, there is no reason to mourn the end of summer. Not this year! Not in Westfield! Come celebrate fall with your family, friends and local community. We’re expecting a festive atmosphere with non-stop entertainment starting at 11 a.m., and we expect the party to last all day!
The Greater Westfield Chamber of Commerce is celebrating the 26th year of Festifall. Local businesses and guest vendor booths will line the streets and offer diversions and great food as well as some bargains and great opportunities to discover what is wonderful about Westfield.
Said Gene Janotti, GWACC Executive Director, “The Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce is very pleased to bring the 26th anniversary Festifall to Westfield. Once again, we expect thousands to be in attendance and enjoy festive atmosphere created in downtown Westfield.”
Where, you ask? Find Festifall in the center of Westfield on Elm Street, Quimby Street, Broad Street and Prospect Street. Vendors, local businesses, entertainment, activities for all ages include a kid zone with games and activities. The fair begins at 10 and will run until 5 p.m. rain or shine.
“I am so proud of our vibrant and multiple award-winning Downtown area. Certainly much of its continued success is attributable to the efforts of the many businesses that are Chamber members. This 26th anniversary of the Chamber’s FestiFall not only reflects the Chamber’s commitment to the community, it serves as an opportunity to showcase all that Westfield has to offer. I congratulate the Chamber on its 26th year of organizing this great annual tradition and look forward to seeing everyone in our Downtown on Sunday, September 27th!” said Mayor Andy Skibitsky.
A full day of musical entertainment starts at 11 a.m. with Pre-School of Rock. At 12 noon listen to Little Secret followed by MuDavis Performing Arts Company. The afternoon lineup includes The Core at 1:30, The Backbeat at 2:45 and UMOJA Dance Studio at 3:45, wrapping up with the always anticipated Nikki Briar and the SweetBriar Band.
Chris Devine, President of the GWACC invites all, “Come out and enjoy a fun filled day with family and friends at the 26th anniversary of Festifall where there will be plenty of food, rides and entertainment. The GWACC is proud to celebrate with the local businesses that we represent and appreciate their support as we look forward to our continued partnership for many years to come."

Parking is prohibited on the streets in the Spring Fling area all day Sunday.
Downtown businesses in the area should advise employees to park in the South Avenue Train Station lot for the day. Downtown residents are reminded to park in municipal lots, out of the Festifall area.

For over 60 years, the Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce (GWACC) has been connecting commerce and community. The GWACC promotes the economic prosperity of businesses primarily in Fanwood, Garwood, Mountainside, Scotch Plains and Westfield. It is the largest association of businesses and nonprofits in our area. Members include business owners, professionals, managers and operators. Membership cultivates the opportunity to build relationships, partner, make referrals, increase business, attend lunch and learns, and support the community.
The GWACC hosts three street fairs each year, two in Downtown Westfield and one in the center of Garwood. The chamber also operates the Westfield Farmers Market and runs the Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) program. The GWACC monthly networking events — one in the early morning and one directly after work — serve as an opportunity for current members to network with each other regularly and for prospective members to come see what we're all about. In addition, the Professional Women’s Committee organizes networking events specifically tailored to women business owners, professionals, and entrepreneurs.
