ROSELLE NJ — Firefighters from all over the area responded to a fire that broke out on the 200 block of West First Avenue in Roselle on Tuesday afternoon.

The fire started during the sudden rainstorm that hit the area around 2 p.m. Firefighters from Linden, Elizabeth, Rahway and Union County EMS were on scene to assist the Roselle Fire department with the fire at a multi-family apartment building.  

According to Roselle Fire Chief Paul Mucha, everyone was able to get out of the building and there were no major injuries. It was not known at the time if the fire was storm-related.
