It was a picture perfect day for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sept. 27 as Franklin School in Westfield officially unveiled a new playground addition, thanks to the generosity of the Franklin PTO.

“We purchased and installed the new playground addition over the summer,” said Franklin PTO co-president Kendra Broad. “We wanted to celebrate the occasion with a ribbon cutting. The playground has been open for use since the first day of school and the kids are loving it.”
