Mother's Day is just  about a month away and we have so many new gift items that would be the perfect gift for that special someone.

Just arrived in the gallery are unique pins attached to beautifully designed cards. Each note card comes with a matching envelope. All of the pins are composed of tthree metals; nickel, copper  and brass.

The pins are designed and produced by Pilgrim Imports  whose mission is "Working Together for Good" to make sure that craftspeople in the villages in Thailand earn a living wage: one with which they can keep their families and villages together while providing a better life for their children.

Another wonderful item are  beautiful suncatchers, which measure 7" long and come
with a sturdy suction cup for hanging on a window. Each suncatcher features a handmade embellishment with an assortment of beads. They are all individually packaged in their own gift box ready for giving.

Another new item in the gallery is the collage silhouette. Each piece is designed and handmade by Erica Regelin  in her studio in Ellicott City, Maryland.  Every collage is an original one of a kind piece of art.

The collage backgrounds are made by creating a colorful background with magazine pages. Each page is cut into strips and laid out together to create a wonderfully colorful pattern. The silhouette is designed and hand cut out of white cardstock. Matted and framed for an easy gift, these 3 x 4 collages can be displayed anywhere.

Also check out our Tree of Life Matchbook Pins. Each matchbook has a pewter pin inside and has the meaning of the pin printed on the back of the matchbook cover.

Discover more wonderful for Mom, for hosts — even for yourself — at our gallery.

The Missing Moses

A seemingly dubious distinction belongs to this week’s Parshah, Tetzaveh (Exodus 27:20–30:10). It is the only reading in the Torah — from the first Parshah of the book of Exodus (in which he is born) until the end of the book of Numbers — where the name of Moses is not mentioned. Tetzaveh’s opening words are V’atah ...

Would the Stock Market Affect Your Home Purchase?

"Fasten your seatbelts; it's going to be a bumpy night." ("All About Eve.") While most people misquote this as "It's going to be a bumpy ride," the actual quote works better for the movie. Bette Davis delivers this with the classic style that made her one of the most loved actresses of her generation.

Well for the stock market it’s been a wild bumpy ...

Is FAANG Long in the Tooth?

Investors love to rally around a stock story. Today it’s all about the FAANG stocks. Facebook (FB), Amazon (AMZN), Apple (AAPL), Netflix (NFLX) and Google (GOOG) are a major reason why the S&P 500 rallied so much in 2017. Mr. Market is convinced the FAANGs are impervious to a sell-off. “Its different this time” is ringing loud and clear, but will the outcome really be that ...

Imagine a Chatham Toboggan Ride from the Top of Fairmount Avenue to Main Street

Did you know….
there was a time when Chatham kids could ice skate from downtown Chatham all the way to Florham Park? And that a toboggan ride could last from the top of Fairmount Avenue down to Main Street and beyond?

Those were the days!

This was back in the early to mid-1900s. The Passaic River meandered through grassy meadows and woods on the north side of Chatham. The marshy ...
