Engaged Living

Summer is coming to an end, and the busyness of fall is fast approaching. As we prepare for this transition at FUMC Westfield, we’re asking ourselves, “Where is our focus? What consumes us? What routines will demand our time and attention?” We invite you to join us in worship Sundays at 10 a.m. as we take a look at some examples of people who have walked faithfully with God through life’s challenges and discuss what it means to live a life that is engaged in the things of God.

Coming up in Worship

Our newsletter delivers the local news that you can trust.

We’ll be having a special Traditional Worship Service with Holy Communion led by our Worship, Music, and Arts team on Sunday, Sept. 8. This will also be our Christian Education Programming Kickoff. All are invited to take a look at our opportunities for faith exploration and growth in the coming year.

Sept. 22 is Missions Sunday. Come hear from our Youth Mission Team about their experience serving with The Philadelphia Project earlier this summer.

On Sunday, Sept. 29, worship will be led by our Youth and Children. Our “5th Sunday Players” will be presenting a chancel drama in lieu of the traditional message based on the parable of the Good Samaritan. We hope you’ll join us either at church or live on Facebook and Instagram to experience this lesson about caring and compassion!
