WESTFIELD, NJ — The Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce approved its new slate of officers at a meeting held June 21, with Scotch Plains resident and Westfield Wells Fargo Advisor Christopher Devine taking over the role of chairman from Mitch Beinhaker of Beinhaker Law Firm.
Also approved that day were 1st Vice-Chair Carol Kearney of Unique Cruise & Travel; 2nd Vice-Chair Paula Ehoff of the Westfield Area Y; Treasurer Harriett Schulman, CPA; Assistant Treasurer Robert Dowdy of Two River Community Bank; and Secretary Rebecca Seasholtz of Bayada Home Health Care. After three years as chairman, Beinhaker now sits on the board of directors.
“Mitch has done a great job laying a foundation,” Devine told TAP. “I’m very passionate about continuing the momentum that we’ve started.”
The GWACC serves Westfield, Scotch Plains, Fanwood, Garwood and Mountainside.
“It’s a good group of people we have, especially our board,” said Devine. “We’re all about what’s good for the organization and more than anything we’re trying to help these businesses thrive.”
