FANWOOD, NJ — The Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce's hosted the second installment of its Fanwood Speaker Series with Terry Viney's advice on "Landing New Clients" at The Chelsea at Fanwood (295 South Avenue) on Thursday, March 16.
"You can land new clients just by changing the way you think," said Viney, whose mission is "to make a difference, working with professionals who want to make a difference, doing something that makes a difference."
Viney provided tips on staying focused to pursue goals, increasing confidence and expanding one's comfort zone.
Viney is president of The Plus Factor in Your Business, a company focused on helping organizations and people "turn goals into gold." A Distinguished Toastmaster, he has shared the podium with executives of NASA and Exxon, among others.
The Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce (GWACC) is a networking organization, established over 60 years ago, serving businesses and non-profit organizations and supporting local economies in Scotch Plains, Fanwood, Garwood, Mountainside and Westfield. The chamber helps businesses and non-profits discover new opportunities and strives to make a difference by making connections that build successful relationships.
