WESTFIELD, NJ — Four elegant Westfield homes were on display this weekend during the Rake and Hoe Garden Club of Westfield’s Deck the Halls Holiday House Tour, a special event that takes place just once every four years. Each home was decorated with a different theme, depending on the character of the home.
“Our members put in countless hours planning, sourcing and executing their designs to the highest standards,” said Event Co-Chair Beth Siano. “The result was a beautiful and inspiring day that made it all worthwhile. We appreciate the support from the town of Westfield and the many local businesses that made contributions that ultimately help to support Rake and Hoe's community projects.”
These tours are the Rake and Hoe Garden Club’s primary source of revenue in support of their many service projects to the town, county and state for which it is known.
“The 2014 Deck the Halls House Tour was a great success due to the inspired efforts of The Rake and Hoe Garden Club Co-chairs Beth Siano and Pat Wilson; the House, Boutique, Ticket Sales and Publicity Chairs; and the talented members of the club who created the beautiful decorations,” said Club President Karen Jolley-Gates. “We would also like to thank the town of Westfield and the many businesses which supported our efforts. The joint efforts of all of these parties made the tour an enjoyable event for all of our participants.”
“We would like to thank our intrepid guests for making the 2014 Deck The Halls a wonderful success in spite of the heavens opening up on us,” added Co-Chair Pat Wilson. “We look forward to having you all join us again for the 2018 Deck The Halls Holiday House Tour.”
