SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ - JCC Youth Theater will present three performances of "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown" at Terrill Middle School Feb. 6-9.  This marks the sixth year that the JCC will stage a theatrical performance.

The cast will include 45 boys and girls from throughout the Union County area. Gabe Bachman, a fifth-grader at Terrill Middle School, will play the lead role as Charlie Brown. Of course, other beloved Peanuts characters will be in the performance, including:

·           Lucy van Pelt as played by Claudia Sahaj, 8th grader at Terrill Middle School

·           Linus van Pelt as played by Billy Kasper, 6th grader at Terrill Middle School

·           Snoopy as played by Tara Kenoff, 6th grader at Terrill Middle School

·           Schroeder as played by Michael Gross, 8th grader at Park Middle School

The show is based on the Peanuts comic strip by Charles M. Schulz with book, music and lyrics by Clark Gesner. Beth Kasper is the director, and Karen Mayerson is the producer.  Both are Scotch Plains residents.

Performances take place at Terrill Middle School, 1301 Terrill Road, Scotch Plains on Thursday, Feb. 6 at 7 p.m.Saturday, Feb. 8 at 7 p.m., and Sunday, Feb. 9 at 2 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at $13 for general admission seating and $18 for premium seats, which will be assigned to the first 10 rows.  Visit to purchase tickets in advance.  Tickets can also be purchased at the door.  For more information, call (908) 889-8800 or email
