Join Temple Sholom Dec. 2 for a Chanukah Boutique, Free Mini Classes and a Tzedakah Fair!

Fanwood, NJOn Sunday, December 2, Temple Sholom of Fanwood/Scotch Plains will hold its Chanukah Boutique and Learning and Tzedakah Fairs in the cafeteria of Union Catholic High School, 1600 Martine Avenue, Scotch Plains.

At the boutique from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., find great gifts, hundreds of new and favorite Jewish books and delicious baked treats.

The tzedakah fair from 9:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. will include special crafts created by students and families. Money from items sold at this portion of the fair will be donated to various local, national and international charities. For a small donation, participants can create crafty gifts of their own.

From 9:45 a.m. until 11:45 a.m., there will be free 30-minute drop-in classes for people of all ages. Classes include cooking, music and Jewish crafts. For more information, visit www.sholomnj.org.

Founded in 1913, Temple Sholom is a Reform Jewish Congregation led by Rabbi Joel N. Abraham. The Temple and its religious school is home to about 250 families from the greater Scotch Plains-Fanwood area. Currently residing within the Fanwood Presbyterian Church, the Temple has purchased five acres of land in Scotch Plains for its future home. Temple Sholom is a member of the Union for Reform Judaism.
