On Tuesday, Dec. 15, at 7:30 p.m., the JCC of Central New Jersey is hosting Andrew Kane, author of The Night, The Day.
Kane, who has also written the critically acclaimed and controversial novel Rabbi, Rabbi holds a PhD in psychology from Yeshiva University and is a clinical psychologist.
He brings the perfect experience to his latest book, The Night, The Day. It’s the story of a psychologist who is treating an enigmatic and evasive hotel magnate who recently attempted suicide. From the streets of Lyon, France – when the Vichy government helped the Nazis ship Jews to concentration camps – to the suburbs of New York City five decades later, The Night, The Day is a thrilling journey from darkness to light as many lives collide.
In his riveting third novel, Kane has drawn upon years of research and a lifetime of personal conviction to deliver his most compelling work yet.
This community read is open to the public; book groups and individuals are all welcome. Admission is $15 per person; dessert reception included. Online registration is available at www.jccnj.org or in person at the JCC in Scotch Plains.
