Lincoln School in Westfield recently celebrated fall events hosted by the Lincoln School Parent Teacher Organization. A fall bulb planting day was held on Tuesday, Oct. 7, at Lincoln School. The children enjoyed learning about how to plant bulbs that will "sleep" through the winter and bloom in the Spring. They worked intently with their shovels while having fun. Rekemeier's Flowers kindly supported the event by donating over 200 tulip bulbs for our planting.
Additionally, the Lincoln School students also had fun at a pumpkin patch held at the school on Friday, Oct. 10. Each class participated in fall-themed activities and then selected pumpkins. Schieferstein's Farm Market partnered with the school by supplying the pumpkins and other fall items.
