Jill LaZare and David Barnett, challengers in the 21st Legislative District, received the endorsement of the New Jersey Firefighters Mutual Benevolent Association yesterday. The firefighter’s union announced their endorsement at their annual membership conference in Atlantic City.

“I am excited and humbled to have the support of New Jersey firefighters for my campaign. They have seen the failed policies of Jon Bramnick, Nancy Munoz, and Chris Christie and the damage they have done to New Jersey in these last few years. Now they, like so many of the residents of the 21st District, are ready for a change. I am proud to be supported by NJFMBA” said LaZare.

“I am thrilled to be endorsed by NJFMBA. As Mayor of Springfield I have had a productive relationship with our local firefighters and look forward to working with firefighters on the state level” said Barnett.

Jill LaZare is a family attorney in Summit and the proprietor of the Law Offices of Jill Anne LaZare. She previously ran for the 21st District seat in 2013. David Barnett is the current Mayor of Springfield and is in his second term as a member of the town council.
