The Westfield Area Y Leaders Club teens will rock continuously on their rocking chairs in a Rock-A-Thon for 9 hours to benefit the Strong Kids Campaign at the Main Y facility, 220 Clark Street on March 12th from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
The Leaders Club is a volunteer group comprised of teens in grades 6-12 who volunteer their time to raise money for various causes.  The Rock-A-Thon is one of their events to help raise money to benefit the Y Strong Kids Campaign.  They are seeking donations and/or sponsors for their cause.  Interested donors can make a donation based on an hourly rocking rate or set a flat donation amount. Checks should be made payable to the Westfield Area Y and are tax deductible.  Proceeds will directly benefit the campaign.
Your generosity will help strengthen the community and help a child.  Thanks to the Strong Kids Campaign, no one experiencing a bona fide financial hardship is turned away for inability to pay, whether due to unemployment, poor health, financial issues or other circumstances.

The Westfield Area Y Strong Kids Campaign provides financial assistance to families in need to enable their participation at the Y.  This campaign enables nearly 300 individuals in need within our community to participate in Westfield Area Y programs such as summer camp and child care.
