I Am Confident Jim Boyes Will Be A Great Asset For Westfield Town Council.
I first met Jim Boyes six years ago when I began volunteering with Moms Demand Action for common-sense gun control. This was shortly after the horrific shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary school where 20 young children were shot and killed in their first-grade classrooms. The group’s mission inspired me, and it was refreshing to see a dad join with the moms to advocate for our children’s safety. In the years since, Jim has been a dedicated and influential part of that Union County group. He has effectively helped spread awareness for this national health crisis and worked diligently to promote common-sense gun legislation at the state level.
I’ve also had the pleasure to volunteer beside Jim and his wife Maria during several local elections, and together we worked to support committed gun-sense candidates. Jim’s local volunteer work includes time devoted to Westfield’s Green Team. The Green Team has done a fantastic job implementing an efficient recycle program and promoting a healthier and more sustainable town.
Jim is someone who always can be counted on to serve his community and to step in whenever help is needed. He can be trusted to make decisions based on thorough investigation, due diligence and problem resolution with well-thought-out solutions. Residents can rely on him to replace complacency with action and to work closely with the other Town Council members as a strong team player. I am confident Jim will be a great addition to our Westfield Town Council, and am excited to support him in the November election.
I hope you will join me in voting for Jim Boyes to be our Ward 1 Councilman.
