Talking about politics has become a minefield. The divisiveness is not just among voters, it's now equally driven by our elected officials too. And too much of it has trickled down to our local elections. Aren't you sick of it? I am.
So, I want to talk about character, and supporting a candidate who represents our values.
Scott Katz is running for Ward 4 Town Council, and I think he is the right candidate for us. I've gotten to know Scott pretty well in the last year. He's genuine and decent; he has a great sense of dry humor and is wicked smart! Scott's background in small business management and his easygoing manner will serve our community well — and with a steady hand at that.
Scott's approach to his campaign has been impressive. He's worked hard to understand all of the issues, and their nuances among residents, that Westfield faces. And he's trucking along to meet all the Ward 4 neighbors he can before Election Day, Nov. 5.
After many conversations with Scott, it's clear that his business acumen and lively personality will be assets to the Town Council. I encourage my neighbors to follow Scott's campaign online, and feel free to get in touch with him if you have any questions — he's quick to respond.
I believe his integrity and his character will make him a terrific Councilman, and I wholeheartedly endorse Scott Katz! To contact him or to learn more, email firstname.lastname@example.org or visit katzforward4.com.
