It has been an honor to represent the 4th Ward and all of Westfield as your councilman for the last four years. I have enjoyed working with the residents, families, businesses, council colleagues and town staff to make Westfield a place to call home for all. As I reflect on my experiences, I cannot help but feel pride for the accomplishments that I was part of. Moreover, I am proud of never compromising my beliefs and positions to make the easy vote or decision. I have enjoyed serving the community as a Councilman that represented not only the 4th Ward, but all of Westfield’s residents.
I want to congratulate newly elected 4th Ward Councilman Scott Katz, as well as other candidates that won election. Thank you for your willingness to run, the commitment to serve and the decisions that you will make moving forward in the best interest of Westfield and its constituents. I ask that you continue to keep the residents and businesses of Westfield at the forefront of your decision making.
I would like to thank the town staff in all departments of Westfield for their dedication to the Town. Our employees care about Westfield and its residents. To the friends and neighbors that have supported me over the years, I truly appreciate it. To my campaign team; Dona Panagos, Steve Silverman, Eric Leuthold, Rob Shakal and Joe McHugh, I cannot thank you enough for the time you parted with to help during this election. I also want to thank the Westfield Town Republican Committee (WTRC), their leadership and my fellow candidates for their support and hard work as well. Finally, I want to thank my wife, Josephine, and my four children, Joseph, Michael, Julia and Kevin, for their honesty, advice, sacrifices and love throughout two campaigns and four years of service, I could not have done this without your support!
Once again, it has been an honor to serve as your Councilman. I will continue to be involved, take pride, think local and support Westfield.
