On February 22nd at their Open House and Ribbon Cutting for their new center in Mountainside, Imagine was surprised by a grant of $5,000 from State Farm Insurance Company.  “We are so grateful for the ongoing generous support from State Farm,” said Stuart Arnold, Imagine Board Chair.  Their company and their agents have been extraordinarily generous.  Without this type of support we would not be able to continue to provide free year-round services for children and families who are grieving a loss due to death or illness.”

“Imagine provides a valuable service that everyone will need at some point in their lives”, said Jennifer Young, Community Relations Specialist for State Farm.  “Our shared mission of helping people recover from the unexpected allows families and communities to thrive through one of the most difficult times of their lives.  Our support goes deeper than the dollars, our hearts go out to all of those involved in the program”, she added.

Imagine is a free year round grief support center for children, parents and adults coping with the loss of a family member due to death or life-altering illness, designed to help children and teens develop healthy coping skills and foster resiliency and emotional well-being for all those who grieve.

Imagine provides grief support and education throughout the year for children, parents and adults through its bi-weekly peer support groups, youth workshops and in-service workshops in the schools, community agencies and workplaces, community-wide days of remembrance, and on-site peer support in schools and workplaces after any traumatic loss.
