WCBS TV weathercaster John Elliott gets the crowd bidding.
WESTFIELD, NJ - The Westfield Area Y is hosting the 12th Annual Golf Classic and Dinner with Live Auction on Monday, May 2nd at Echo Lake Country Club in Westfield. All proceeds benefit the Annual Support Campaign for strong kids, families and seniors, ensuring that no one who lives or works in Westfield, Cranford, Garwood or Mountainside and is suffering a bona fide financial hardship is turned away for the inability to pay. In 2015, the Y provided $418,615 in direct financial assistance to 235 individuals, primarily for child care and summer camp services.
Play golf? Play format is a shamble. Prizes will be awarded for both team performance and individual games of skill by both men and women. Lunch begins at 11:00 am, shotgun start is at12:30 pm.
Don't play golf? Come for part two of our day: Enjoy a cocktail hour and hors d’oeuvres beginning at 5:30 pm, followed by a buffet reception and a live auction facilitated by WCBS TV weathercaster John Elliott. If you have seen him in action, you know what a treat the auction is!
