More than 200 Westfield Students Inducted into National Honor Society

WESTFIELD, NJ — One hundred and ninety juniors and 12 seniors from Westfield High School were inducted into the National Honor Society last month in recognition of their academic excellence, leadership, service and character.  The characteristics associated with membership in the NHS — student excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service and character — have been a hallmark of the organization since its beginning in 1921, according to Westfield Public Schools.

Principal Derrick Nelson awarded the students with certificates and NHS adviser Scott Rutherford presented them with NHS pins and charms.
