“In addition to our excellent teachers, we have diverse, challenging curriculum offerings and provide extensive opportunities in athletics and extra-curricular activities,” said Westfield High School Principal Mary Asfendis. “We also have amazing support from the community which promotes pride in our school and strong school spirit.”

Niche.com gave Westfield High School an “A+” in academics, an “A” for its teachers, an “A” for its clubs and activities, an “A-” for its administration, an “A” for its food, a “B-” on diversity, an “A+” for college prep, an “A+” for health and safety, an “A+” for sports and a “B+” for resources and facilities.

“Certainly, as you look at the indicators, our ratings on diversity and resources/facilities were slightly lower than the rest,” Asfendis said. “We continue to provide programs that support all members of our community such as No Place for Hate and inclusive themes in our courses, curriculum and teacher professional development.”

Nationally, Westfield High School placed 443 out of 19,532 public schools, which the search platform ranked.
