WESTFIELD, NJ— National rankings firm Niche is out with its 2017 list of “Best Places to Live,” and it ranks Westfield  No. 14 in the state of New Jersey.

Niche also ranked Westfield No. 10 in New Jersey on its “Best Suburbs” list and No. 16 in the state on its “Best Places to Raise a Family” list.

The company gives Westfield an A+ for its public schools, a B for housing, an A+ in “good for families,” a B+ for crime and safety, an A- for nightlife, a B+ for diversity, a C- for cost of living and an A for commute. To see the full report card, click here.

“The goal of our Best Places to Live rankings is to provide accurate, comparable and thorough evaluations of places,” Niche says on its website. “To do so, we’ve collected and analyzed dozens of rankings factors from federal and local government datasets. We’ve combined those with proprietary Niche data and community reviews from each area.”
